Tegan has over 10 years experience as an occupational therapist working with children, young people and their families. She graduated from the University of Queensland in 2009 with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy, Class A honours.
Since completing her studies, Tegan has spent her career working on the Sunshine Coast, within the disability sector. Tegan has worked alongside children, young people and their families with varying needs and challenges, supporting them to work towards their therapy goals. There is nothing that Tegan loves more than being able to share in her client’s achievements and support them in achieving their goals.
Research and evidence based practice has always been important to Tegan, and she is currently completing a PhD at the University of Queensland titled “Assisting young people with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy and their families to imagine and plan for a meaningful adulthood”.
Tegan also has a passion for supporting OT practitioners and students through clinical supervision. She currently offers both individual and group based clinical supervision services.
